Based in Tokyo, Japan, TENEX-Japan is a subsidiary of the Joint Stock Company “TENEX” (brand name TENEX) — the main organization of the ROSATOM State Corporation, which is responsible for the global promotion of NFC front-end products generated by industry companies, as well as of Russian solutions and technologies for spent nuclear fuel (SNF) and radioactive waste (RAW) management and the decommissioning of nuclear and radioactively hazardous facilities.
TENEX-Japan, through TENEX, is also a part of the ROSATOM Group. TENEX-Japan promotes TENEX’s NFC products and services in Japan, fulfills delivery contracts for uranium products, and starting from 2015, also provides assistance to Rosatom’s companies in the sales of back-end reference products and services.
Mission
TENEX-Japan operates to promote the interests of the Russian nuclear industry in Japan by providing the most convenient and reliable way for Japanese business partners to access products, services, and technologies offered by Russian facilities in the nuclear fuel cycle, including back-end segments, in strict compliance with Japanese law, high standards for quality, safety and social responsibility.
